Cleaning paper currency

Sorry ! I was tempted to say Launder it :laughing7:
You can try soap & water or Windex & Sponge But, I would guess
anything you clean it with will lower it's value even more then
cleaning coins.

What ever you use, Test it on an old dollar first

Mazzy,
Yes, there is a market for your bill.
What is the series letter (found under the words 'Washington, DC.'? There may be no series letter.
What is the letter in the circle to the left of Jackson?
Does the serial number begin with a 'star'
What is the color of the seal (green or brown)?
Is the word HAWAII printed on the reverse?
Don......

There is no "Hawaii" on the other side

Well, you won't get the ink off :(
at most you'll smear it & make it worse.

Treat it like a Coin Chop Marks

& Live with it

Mazzy74,
Your bill was issued in New York ("B" in the circle). Nearly 103,000,000 were printed making it the most abundant bill of that entire series.
As such, its retail value (if it were in VF-20 condition) would command only a couple of dollars over face.
Don..........

Don, thanks for the info. I guess it's nothing special then. Ill just go blow it on cigarettes lol
