Went back out for a short hunt this afternoon. Pretty sure it’s clock innards. Don’t know what the other piece is, maybe part of the clock? Thanks for looking

looks like a pendulum to me. should be 1.5 to 2" in diameter and 2 to 3 oz in weight.

Hmm……. Gonna have to research that further. Thank you. I wish I had at least some idea as to the age of these gears. That at least gives me a starting point.
