Coil adapter?

Im looking at an adapter for using Fisher F2 coils with older Whites detectors. Has anyone ever used anything like this? I want to know if they are any good.

Unless the coils are designed around the same frequency as the detector you usually won't get decent results just because you can "hook up" the off brand coils.
