Coil choice for V3 on the beach.

I just got a smoking deal on a used V3 and will be using it on various beaches but want a good deep coil. Should I get a deteck coil or sef? What size? I'm new to beach hunting and don't plan on getting wet so won't be in the water just wet and dry sand.

I like the 950 in the dry sand. It glides over the sand nicely and is light enough to swing all day. You will get a bit more depth from the 300 but it's kind of clumsy imo. I have not tried my ultimate 13 dd in the sand but have found the d2 to false more on the beach.

Thanks for that, I had not even considered the eclipse 950 but just assumed it would be a down grade over the stock coil but now looking at some YouTube reviews the ID looks right on with them. Would still like to get some reviews of the ultimate coil and others. There's just not much that I can find on YouTube other then some fool doing air tests in a basement with a metal tape measure on top of what's probably rebar laced concrete.
