coil for M6

Which small coil do you guys own for the MXT or M6?. Also Would you go with the 5.3 or the 4&6. They are both the same price but are they the same out in the field?. I would like to hear some comments on this. Thanks, Pete

I've used them both on my DFX and my opinion is, the 5.3 is deeper. Even though the 4x6 is a DD coil I think it does a tad better in the trash for seperation.

I have the 5" and 4.5x7" exclerator coils for the M6 and for me it seems like the 4.5x7" is a bit deeper.

I have 5.3" and the depth is almost as good as the stock,it also pinpoints great.

I have both for the MXT as well as the 8X10. I like the 4X6 the best in serious trash even tho it's not quite as deep as the 5.3. As an all around coil, I like the 8X10 considerably better than the 9.5. Just my personal prefernces.

I use the M6. I use the 5.3 on it 90% of the time. It gets just about as much depth as the large coil. It is excellent in trashy areas. I cant say anything about the shooter coil,never used it. But if you have mineralzation problems then the shooter would work better than the eclipse. One nice thing about the M6 and MXT, you get a small coil and get in a trashy spot, you can lock your tracking after you ground balance.
I tell you another good small coil Ive read and heard so much about and thats the accelerator coils.

I have a M6, I love the 5.3......great coil, a must have in your coil arsenal
