coil question.

Ok so I have the stock coil and the sniper. The stock coils pin pointer makes me angry sometimes...since its off buy a few centimeters sometimes...which I can live with. However the sniper coil is DEAD ON! My question is is the depth on the sniper and stock coil the same? Also what cases might it be better to use the stock over the sniper, and vice versa?
