I was browsing around for different versions of a coil support and I
saw the one on kellyco, I didn't have the money at hand to purchase one
so the next thing was to make one . They work really well when you are
in the bushes. The coil is kept in place very well. I saw that there wasn't
a lot going on here, so I will try to help others by posting what I learn.
I have a little shop but I can fabricate just about any thing I see. I made
this one from 1/8 in plexiglass blue opaque with 1/4 in" holes. The clamp
is made from nylon, with a nylon screw and nut.The plex I sawed on a band
saw, Just trace it out to measure across your coil, with a grease pencil mark the
holes for the pole tilt, custom to what you want and cut it out ,buff the edges
so it doesn't cut your coil lead and voila.
