Coil surprise....

Well crap went to do some Beach detecting today here in Galveston and was wondering why I was having so much trouble ground balancing and not getting signals and was so chatty. Took coil cover off and found out why, now I have a email out to Garrett.......

I've never seen a failure like that with any Garrett coil.

Talked with Garrett, it’s new to them also. Not stepped on or run over, took coil cover off and there it was in pieces Garrett sending me a new coil since it was still under Warranty. Sending 9ld on back so they can review

Sounds about right for Garrett.

I've never had anything but good customer service from them, in or out of warrranty.
