Hello
I headed out to clean out the deeper targets out of my recent patch. I took out the gpx 5000 armed with the new Coiltek mono elite 18" & the 14". Both coils are amazingly deep on small and big targets. I found 3 apiece with both coils for a 1.5 dwt day. Both coils can deal with bad mineralization better then other coils and usually can run in sensitive extra timing. The new coiltek technology in the Elite series is amazing to see in person of how much sheer depth they produce. I am really lookin forward to other big gold patches from the past and hitting them with the new 18" elite. Good luck & Happy Easter
I have some videos to upload as soon as I figure out how to upload them.

Very nice. As for size, do you notice a big difference between the stock 11" mono and the 14"? Do you find the 18" is difficult to pinpoint or separate targets? I am thinking about a large DD coil to get some discrimination, but I struggle with my 23" Tarantula and maybe that is just too big for general use. For sure, I need to dig much wider (and sometimes deeper) holes.

Hey placergold
The 14" elite doesnt really seem much bigger then the stock 11" commander. It is an awesome coil and finds tiny targets very well. The 18" does seem bigger, but it is only 10 grams heavier then 14". Once you get used to it, pin pointing isnt difficult. It is a great coil for deep ground but still finds smaller gold. I found 1 piece that was .3 grams. Both coils are noticeably deeper then many other coils that ive tried in the past. Good luck

I'm assuming that all your finds recently using the Makro, Nokta, and Minelab are all coming from the same location? Could you describe the ground a bit? Is it virgin channel, previously worked channel, hydraulic tailings? Loose conglomerate, compacted gravel with clay, hot rocks? What sorts of differences are you noting between the behavior of the VLF machines vs. PI? Did you go over ground with the GPX you know you covered with the VLFs? If not, do you think the VLFs would've picked up your new pieces had you been using one of them?

Thanks!

The king has risen! Lol, dude your killing it. Are you like sponsored by mine labs yet?

I thing he should start a nugget hunting class and charge big bucks ! LOL

Then you definitely do not know or understand CGs motives. They are a couple of quality and class and help folks for FREE as it should be. John

Hey Bc
The area is an old channel deposit with old workings and virgin areas that weren't mined. The area that I was detecting with the gpx 5000 and Coiltek elites was a place that I already cleared out with the vlf detectors. The gold I found was deeper and out of range of vlf detection. Both vlf and the coiltek coils run good at that location. Good luck

Thanks CG -- very helpful!
