Coin Buttons and Pewter

I found these they are all pewter. But i know two are Coin Buttons they read One Dime and looks like might be Seated Liberty dimes but has in the picture is a looks like US shield and the other Looks like a Griffin. I dont think US Shield and Griffin were buttons, but may be insignia. Has anyone seen anything like this?

Can any one tell me a little about the Griffin piece, bottom left, looks like a Griffin with one paw up, i have see this on English coat of arms. but the back is different and if you look closer it looks octagon ... Button or maybe horse tack? all 4 items are pewter.
