I found this coin yesterday at a homesite thats been a homesite since the early 1700s. It was a solid 77/78 on my mxt. It pinpointed at 3 inches but when i dug it, it was more like 6. Its bigger then a large cent at 30mm and weighs 9.2 grams. I know ive seen this coin somewhere before. Looks like theres a bust facing right on the front with a thin neck. On the back it appears to be similar to britania but the shield is way to far off her bum. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Great ID very nice coin

There is no 1804 only 1806 or 1807.

I threw the date as an odd guess, I was off by 2 or 3 years. The left facing Britannia gave it away. IDing things usually is just an educated guess. I wish I found it, the closest Ive come is a suspected counterfeit King George iii.
