Here are a couple of rings that I sucked up, last year, with my Keene Coin dredge in a freshwater lake in the central midwest. The man's ring on the left is 14K and weighs a heavy 13.5 grams and the lady's 14K diamond ring was rated at .50ct. They were buried in approx. 3-4 ft. of sand in the lake bottom. You never know what you will find in the sluice box. The beach was closed to swimming in 1984.
