Coin or something else?

Me and a buddy were detecting in Avondale Pennsylvania yesterday, in an area that they faxed to the mid-18 century. In the woods about 6 to 8 inches deep we found this coin, something. Any help Would be appreciated… Diameter slightly larger than a quarter, no markings, and close to the same thickness

Probably an 18th century halfcent.

Sometimes if you oil them with 3-1 oil or mineral oil, then angle them in the light you can pick out silhouettes.
