Hello Fellow T'Netters,
Friend and I headed back to house we had permission for but never really had the time to truly hunt. Well, we should have gone back earlier! House has a backyard with access to a wooded area beyond. Owner told us they are new to the house but that they were told that the wooded lot had some history to it. Besides a little clad we found the following and are hoping for some help with IDing the two buttons.
finds1.webp
finds2.webp
finds3.webp
finds4.webp
finds5.webp

Any help would be greatly appreciated (owner is anxious as well to see what era these are from:) )

Thanks! and Happy Hunting

The item with the number 13 on it is a collar disc. The other item is a button with theback missing. General service button. Both date from WWI...cool finds!

Hello ToddSumm1,
Thank you for the info...any idea what the M on the button with the 13 stands for? Is it for Mounted or Militia, etc.? Also looking for any possible clues on the pin with the B. Searching online but no hits so far.

Thanks again!
:)

Company M 13th Infantry Regiment.

Not sure about the pin. Reminds me of a essayon type motif for military. May be a military engineer (essayon) pin

Looked at the pin wrong...thought it was a castle. More like an english crest of some sort.

Thanks again toddsumm1! Much appreciated.
