I had a flavor in my head all morning so I went to the store at lunch and walk up and down the chip section and found pringles. As I paid for them I look into the coinstar machine and saw coins so I snagged them. Got back to work and there are 21 Wheaties. Oldest is 1928 D - 1942 D and 12 of them are 1943. I forgot one 1980 nickle. 1499793399636-216864360.webp

You hit the lotto today... nice score..:icon_thumright:

I believe they don't recognize copper pennies as legit; same for the 90% silver coins! Their loss, our gain!!:hello2:
I'll have to start checking them,

Okay,, you did say 1943.
I guess those are steel pennies.
Somebody dumped someone's coin collection.
Congrats

sweet find I keep forgetting to check the machine

Copper pennies were made all the way up to around 81-82 (forget what year). So no reason it rejected only wheaties unless there were a ton of wheaties put in and the accidentally got rejected like normal clad coins do from time to time
