Coin Tumbler, How does it work?

Some use sand and some use fish tank gravel. Keep your pennies separate from the silvers. Put coins in till half full, put in good handful of sand or gravel, fill with water just enough to cover coins or little less, add drop liquid detergent and tumble. Dont over do it as you will wear coins too badly.

dont use sand on silver. what I would do is buy a brass tumbler for reloading it uses ground up corn cob or walnut shells. makes stuff shiny. sand I think would do to much eroding to the coins. be sure that you dont clean something that will loses its value if touched.

Good call 8) I didnt mean silver as in real silver, i meant silver as in new clad coins like quarters, dimes, etc etc. I should have just said clad.

Dont put old coins in tumblers! Just use it on the inadequate newer dog crap our government considers coin money, aka clad.
