Hello Everyone,

I decided to go back to the new farm field permission to continue working the fields. The “field Gods" provided me with some keepers over a 6 hour hunt. The old jewelry finds were beautiful, some of my best field discoveries. The old coins continued to be found: 1772 1 Real, 1904 Liberty head nickel, 3-Barber dimes: 1914, 1907 O & 1900, 1874 IH and Lincoln cents: 1910, 1940, 1909 and two toasty coppers. The small spoon is very heavy, thick and about 3.5” in length. Also, some cool old buttons, a clay marble and other interesting items! Of course, there was a lot of iron and high conductor junk not shown.

GL & HH

Doc

Wow, Great hunt!! A good mix of everything, a nice ole Crotal bell would have been the icing on the cake for me.
I need a Spanish silver like that one... Congrats!!

Looks like you may have had a good time. Nice digs

That's an impressive assortment of finds congrats

That's it.
I'm moving back to MA.

No, it's 80 here now....and will be all winter....so nevermind.

Keep digging my friend, great finds!

WOW! Nice finds! Congrats and HH

Hello P of E. Very nice digs! Looks like 6-HRs well spent. You got a nice x-section of items. BTW the small slotted item lower left in the last pic is woman's corset clip. Good Luck. C9

Very nce variety...wtg on the jewelry and silver coins..That reale is smoking. Got you a good place.

Hello DigToChina,

I am not sure about the cameo pendent. The one with no visible metal was a mid-tone. The large woman's corset (thanks cambria09) is made of copper, so basically a high tone. I will try to determine their composition.

Regards,

Doc

Doc, I'd say the God's were looking down favorably upon you. Congrats on the Real and those other keepers. :occasion14:

PoE, I enjoy your posts, and am amazed at your finds....down here in Texas, we don't get that kind of variety and historical depth, unless it is a Spanish or Republic site.

Congratulations on another great day.
