Hello All. 'Tected 3 sites for these finds, a 1920's school yard, a 1910 school yard, and a park. Found some OK items:

(120) or so clad coins
H. J. Heinz bottle (I am guessing 1970's vintage)
Fiat Abarth Tootsie Toy Die Cast Car (probably 1960's vintage)
Cub Scout neckerchief clasp (unk vintage)
"5" Pin (probably scout related)
Various brass and AL hardware
Modern key
"Hair Groom" cap (unk vintage...I cannot find anything like it on the internet...??)
Several wheaties (including 1918, 1919 and a 1929S)
ND Buff
Silver??? ring
"Prospectors" badge (This one has me puzzled I cannot figure out what it went to...any ideas???)

I really enjoyed the short park hunt and am hoping to check it out again tomorrow, found the Tootsie Toy, ring, Prospector Badge, Buff, and some wheaties there.

Have fun and HHTA.

That a Tiger Cub Neckerchief Slide. Great find !
A few years ago we discussed another similar finding here:

Don.........

Hello Don. Thanks for the info. I googled Tiger Cubs and see that they began in 1982...I was hoping it was older but judging by the condition and the fact that it was almost on top I guessed it might be be fairly modern.

This it the 3rd scout neckerchief slide I have found including a Weblos and my own Boy Scout slide found several years ago when I was 'tecting my boyhood home.

Nice finds cambria09!

cambia,
As a former Scout (WAY back in day), my interest was piqued by that slide since I had never seen one like that before.
I continue to learn. Thanks.
Don.....

Your 5 pin refers to how many years one has been in scouts for( I'm on year 3 as of now)

Hello cambria,

Your Heinz jar dates right about 1920 and would have contained sour onions, sour mixed pickles, or sour pickle sticks. That's an early automatic bottle machine valve mark on the base.

This may be the product beneath your Hair Groom lid:

Nice finds there! And you have some brass Items that I have found similar ones and still don't know what they were for. Octangular sheet brass with a thick brass rod that goes through and turns. Any ideas?

Hello CoinandRelicMan. I have seen those little brass pieces posted before on TN. They are some sort of roofing hardware used for attaching tiles I think. One of mine says "Phlip Carey" on it which was a roofing outfit began back in the 1920's for cement roofing.

Thanks for the reply and HH. C9
