Always check the coinstar... that would be a huge YES. I have found silver coins, foreign coins and even a silver ring.

Last night was a game changer... I ran a few errands around town and made a stop at the grocery store.

OMG!! ..... Ok so there were a few more coins than normal in the reject tray.... Kinda nice.. But then I realized

the coins kept spilling out of the chute. What the?? So..... I continued to grab handfuls of coins and filled up my Carhartt pockets with coins.

What a haul... I still can not believe it. I managed a few wheat pennies, and some unique pennies. Total haul $121.29..

Did someone unload a monster load of coins? Was the coinstar filled to the brim?? I guess this was the burp??

Did you deposit some coins and the rest start spilling? Other wise the overflow with at many coins would have spilled all over the ground out of the. Up...

Amazing. I found $23 in coin in a machine once and there was no way to discretely scoop them up, had to grab a checkout bag to load up, but $121 oh my goodness.

Yes its crazy,.. I couldn't believe the coin haul myself. I didn't deposit any coins.
The bottom tray was full of coins and the rest of the coins were jammed in the chute.
I thought for sure I would find some silver coins since those are the "reject coins".
Why else would the machine reject so many coins?? Any thoughts?

No Idea. I haven't had great luck at coinstars personally. Sometimes you just gotta say "thank you" and not even think about the why.
