Working as a cashier has its perks, especially when you are less than 5 ft from a coinstar. LOL
Here's a tip just in case anyone's interested.
Tell the cashier or the manager that there is a coin stuck in the machine. More often than not they will open the machine up. Normally they just call me to fix it since I am always there and I know the access code. But under the feeder wheel in the machine is where the big coins go. Like Ike's Morgans, rejects go there. I have found more than one silver bit in there. Also check the door if the cashier will let you. There is normally a storage plastic bin for holding the coinstar cleaners. That's usually where we dump the change that didn't get rejected and didn't go through the machine. Coinstar usually takes this stuff but I bet since alot of people here are good bargainers, they can get it for a song from whereever they are. I have gotten 10 dollars in Ike's, another 8 dollars in casino metal tokens which are very sellable now and at least 4 silvers working this way.
