I was out at Wal-Mart today, hating life, and while leaving the store, caught the Coinstar machine out of the corner of my eye. Since I was next to it, I checked and there were a few goodies waiting for me. No silver, but a geography lesson instead due to the range of countries involved. There was a US cent, 2 Canadian dimes, a one dollar coin from Jamaica, a Euro once cent coin, and a 1 peso from the Dominican Republic.

Cool find. I've not had any luck with the local coin star for a long time.

Wally World pay off just for visiting... Congrats!

I found another zinc cent at kroger today, same as last weekend.

I am heading to Wally World tonight I hope the coinstar is loaded.

:BangHead:diversity at it's:

:dontknow: ??????

I would take that lesson anytime!

I guess that now makes you a world traveler ? Nice finds.

Congrats on the finds.

I've done really well with CoinStar machines over the years. I hit my local machine regularly.
I've scored at least 20 silvers. One of my coolest finds was a secret service lapel pin.

Gotta' love the old CoinStar...

Grabbed some coins from a different Wal Mart Coinstar. I got 18 cents in modern clad and a couple Mexican coins, a 1 peso and 10 peso. Nothing super, but more to add to the collection.

This could be a realty show on some tv channels !!!!! good finds all...I always forget to check um !!

Congratulations! :occasion14:

I also have found coin star machines very productive lately. :icon_thumleft:

Good job!!!! I found one silver dime in a coinstar!!!

I had another strange find in my local coin counter. They replaced the Coinstar with some other brand. A week or so ago I found a little over $15 in modern change at the one in WalMart, but today, mine was stranger. It was 6 coins. Two were Mexican 1 peso coins, which is not really surprising, but the other 4 I could not identify. I finally figured out that they were from Morocco. They were 1, 2, 5, and 10 Dirham coins. No pics right now since I am lazy.

Your right about the variety!!!

Yesterday I had my first find for a while. Not super exciting, so no pictures, but I got $1.15 in US clad, a Canadian dime and a penny from Trinidad & Tobago.

Adding more coins to our world map courtesy of Coinstar. At the grocery store today, my grandson beat me to the machine and came back with a 2013 South Korean 10 Won coin.

I find foreign coins once in a blue moon. Not bad
