Cold water Detecting

Hi to all, I am going to be in Daytona beech this winter and would like to detect the ocean, as the water temp in Feb. will be around 60degrees, do I need a wet suit. Thankyou

northerners usually are fine in fla. waters
I usually will wear bathing suit - with lycra or bike shorts under neath - stops chaffing
i will wear a t-shirt and most times a sweatshirt in the water
not so much for warmth but to keep sun of me and jellyfish
I have a dive jacket that serves same purpose and will add warmth also if im hunting all day
if you are in for over couples of hours you body temp can be lowered and you may get a chill
even if air is warm
Im from New England - I love Florida waters
