Got out for a bit today to some sites to the south of me.

Looks like I'll be going back!

Temps were real nice (38) and the frost has knocked down the weeds.

Nice score in the buckle! That would make my day. Interesting items (although I can't help on the ID) I find stuff all the time I can't ID, but people on here usually can. I'm always learning new things on this site.

Thanks Guys! Most of these were probably 5" deep or less.

The site is along side a road & it looks like the hole was filled in @ some point. Real nice diggin in the soft dirt.

There's a pond behind the area that has flooded out the road to an area in the back so I'll have to wait a bit till I can get back there.

Does anyone know of a book that can give you info on buckles to date them?
