These finds are only mine....check out Jeff's post to see everything we pulled today and thanks for looking! :icon_thumleft: :icon_thumleft:

Here's my finds from today:

Nice Largie, along with a heavy saddle shield and buttons......ALSO, a piece of lead that has been poured as a liquid

into a thimble and then hardened and taken out...you can see the little dimples all over the surface of it

And a photo of the past couple of hunts put together:

Buttons, bullets, piece of lead bar stock for making bullets, part of trigger guard, lead arrowhead/triangle piece???.......Im at a loss of words for the circular brass/bronze ornate circle? Any ideas???

This spots been good to us but now it's time to head on too greener pastures. There's probably a few keepers

still hiding in there as you never get EVERYTHING.....but we've hammered it good and will be out to find a new

casino this weekend :icon_thumleft: :icon_thumleft: :icon_thumleft:

:laughing9: :laughing9: Colonial Casino.. ::) wonder where you got that from :laughing7: One day we'll look back and refer to these as the good ole days :icon_thumleft:

Great finds! Best of luck this weekend!

Josh, I think the casino is still open for business for some patient hunters. That's a site most relic hunters dream about. Great finds. HH.

Oh yeah....there's no doubt Quindy that if we take our time and sweep it very slowly that it will yield more nice relics...

We'll save that for a rainy day or a day when we've not got any other spots to go to.. Its always nice to have a little

spot that you know you can go back to and that will produce something.....but as stated, we picked most of the easy

pickings and will probably go-a knockin on doors this weekend

That's what Dman and I like to do Josh. We rarely grid search. That way, we can always go back with the hope of finding more CW or Colonial relics. Good luck this weekend guys, Quindy

Yep, when you grid a field you pretty much tear through just about all the relics in it so its smart that you guys do

it that way. Gives you a fighting chance of finding something the next time you go back...that cool.......Thats what

we pretty much did at this field aside for a couple areas that we grided hard......those were the ones producing the

colonial coppers and silver.......and confederate buttons.......but as a whole we probably only grided maybe 30%

This place has been good to you both Josh, seem's to be producing very well.Your DIV find's are just as awesome and I like them better ;D Great seeing you again and congrat's on the find's.....the canteen spout is too cool :icon_thumright:

Josh, the Colonial Casino is killer, killer I say!!! :headbang: You made your VA ancestors proud again, buddy! Hit it harder and dig another pile of those greenies for us! :notworthy:

Man you all did great in that spot. I hope you get into another like that. Spots like that will produce good stuff for years. You just have to hunt slower and be less picky about the signals you dig.
