My buddy and I got permission to hunt a huge field with lots of history surrounding the area. We have been there several times now and have gotten a few civil war bullets. Went there last Monday and he pulled this 1773 Virginia half cent out. Can't wait to get back this weekend.

That's a great find. Can you make out a date?

Can't make out the date. But they were only made one year. 1773. You can see the 17 at the top right of the Virginia seal
