Measures about 2" long.
Back attachment is threaded. No sign of anything broken off on the back.
Figure looks "colonial" to me, ie :wavy hair/ wig
I'm not even sure how to Google this to start research.
Look familiar to anyone?

I think that would be considered a Ormolu Hardware Face Mount .. either a drawer pull or furniture appliqué

Can't find it. I think it's an Art Nouveau period ( 1890-1914 ) applique. Probably gilded at one time. From furniture, a decorative box, something like that. It's a cast piece, too heavy, IMO, for a brooch. Cool find.

Don't see that particular one on a quick search either, but some with similar characteristics:

Can't seem to post it as a link but if you do a google image search for Ormolu Hardware Face Mount you will see some.

I see that, very similar. I mention Art Nouveau because of the flowers.
