IMG_2022.webpIMG_2031.webpI was hunting the woods near a railroad bridge since my last good spot is being developed, its ok I think I got just about everything outta there. I had hunted one side of the bridge with no luck so I tried the other side. The bridge was bulit around 1900 so I thought there might be some debreis left from the work camp. I started finding washers ant bolts and thought I was on the right track. Soon I noticed I was getting well formed square nails. Not to long later I dug these 2 king george ll copper coins dates unknown but they're old.

Well those are a good sign! Nice coppers. Did you find any other relics?

War of the Austrian Succession and French and Indian war were taking place while those coins were circulating. Very cool!

The only other thing is a rusted buckle but that might be from the railroad work party

Looking for 1900s and get 1700s. That's what I'm talking about. Guess you got a new site to hit again.

Congrats

Congratualtions on the nice old copper find! :occasion14:

Sweet oldies there. Nice spot. Do you plan on going back to that spot that's being developed as they stir up the dirt? I sure would if they allowed me to.
