Colorado - 4 7/8" of rain,3 1/8" in an hour, No shovels,rakes,or detectors needed !
We got hammered with the rain,,,, feeling old and lazy,my brother and I decided to meet up and just do some walking, getting our exercise, while dong some surface hunting. Everything in the pic's was either lying on top or sticking out. I found 12 bottles (nothing exciting) all sticking out of the creek banks. But my 2 favorite finds are my nice jewelry size piece of turquois, and the little brass scalloped shovel, which after some cleaning ,now reads "Denver 1947 with a circle around 2 hammers with the letters A M E I,anyone have any ideas
?? Carl maybe you can help me with this one
? Also I got an interesting small (cufflink) brass button, can anybody help me identify it ?? Only one of the 12 bottles was embossed,a John Wyeth clear ground top screw top. The 3 pennies were all from the 60s. It was a good day, cant wait till the next rain to go for a walk !!!!
