Hi everyone i found this half dollar a while back but it surfaced again today while i was going through my coin collection.
I have a question for you. Is this one of your clad coins? or would you call it silver and seeing its a 1964 coin would you classify it as a good find

Thanks Raoul ;)

It's a silver coin. 1964 was the last year for silver American coins. Nice find and HH, Mike

Yep, It's a Kennedy half, it is silver being that it was made in 1964...
Couldn't tell ya anything about the value, but it's definitely a keeper in my book...
Good luck, & Happy hunting~

It is a very good find, last of the 90% silver halves. In the current silver market it is worth about $4 silver melt value.

1964 was the last year for bullion silver coins, so your Kennedy Half is 90% silver. They did continue to make Kennedy halves of 40% silver thru 1970.
