Common Opal From Ancient Lakes Area Near Quincy, WA

The wife and I drove to Ancient Lakes area, just north of the Gorge Amphitheater and south of Quincy, WA and we poked around a little bit.

We found an old Diatomaceous Earth pit mine and found some nice common Opal specimens. Here are some pictures of some of what we collected~
