Complete Shoe Buckle, Gen Service Button, Iron Relic

My first full hunt of the year. Between some bad nerve issues in my neck and scapula and some crazy hours at work it’s been no fun for this guy. I’m feeling nice and healthy finally and had a free day. Results weren’t bad. Found complete shoe buckle # 10. Also recovered an 1860s general service button with the Extra Quality backmark. The 1862 ih was right beside it. A slick copper, blank pewter button and old jackknife rounded out the hunt. Found an interesting piece of iron as well. Part of an old fireplace maybe? I have no clue.

Man that shoe buckle! Congrats! That's a great way to start after time off! I'm still questing for another complete! I know there's some out there! Congrats on the general service button! I found my first a couple months ago and I'm still excited about it!
