Concave button?

Well, I've found flat buttons, 2 piece buttons, 3 piece buttons, tombacs, and some random newer stuff, but never one quite like this. It's one-piece like a flat button but perfectly concave with a design on the obverse. What time frame is this from? What do you call them?
