Absolutely Beautiful! .. That 1852 is a killer of a coin! Well done, Ron!

Ron, Well Done on your CW finds and saves. Great looking buttons and coins. A thought on your find of the bayonette/hook. A lot of times soldiers would bend or fashion hooks to bayonnettes in order to move or drag bodies a short distance for burial. This would keep the soldiers from having to man handle the bodies of the dead. While this subject is a bit morbid, it is highly possible that this is what this piece may have been used for. Burial parties would try to be particular in the handling of the dead to protect themselves from sickness and disease.

Very nice finds, congrats! :occasion14:
