I do apologize if this is not the place to do this, but I would like to offer this to my metal detecting friends in Arkansas first.
I am advertising for a friend, a Cosmopolitan Type 2 bullet. I have little knowledge of Civil War bullets, but I do know this is a type of bullet was used by the confederates and is very rare. The bullet was found while metal detecting in the Fayetteville area and is in excellent shape.
I have seen this type of bullet in great shape sell for $595, however my friend is ASKING $550. If anyone is interested or know of anyone who is interested, please email me at rhillyard@nwacc.edu with the words Cosmo Type 2 in the heading. Thanks
