Found This Fired Enfield Bullet Inside A Piece Of A Dead Wind Fall Tree. The Wood Plug In The Base Of The Bullet Is Still Intact After All These Years. I Always Check Around Old Dead Trees That I Think Were Alive During The CW, Because With All The Hot Lead And Iron, Flying Around Back Then, You Never Know What You Might Find. Thanks For Looking. trk5capt...

That is awsome, wish I could find something like that. Congrats.

I find myself doing that too Capt'....Very nice!!Might be able to get out tommorrow, pretty much back to grass after all the ice and snow.HH!!

That is cool!

Very interesting and unique. Leave it to you, Captain, to find something so cool!! Congrats. I like to run the coil of my detector up and down trees. I only find nails!!! LOL :(

If you take out the rosewood base, do you see a number in there? All the Enfields I've found with the rosewood have had 57's in there.

Very nice find. I search trees I think were living back then too.
