Never found an Enfield bullet with the plug still in it, made my day! Do y'all know if the small bullet with the single ring is Civil War era or modern? A couple buckles turned up, and then a signal that almost blew my ears off. When I first saw the top of the target, I thought I had a whole cannonball. Alas, it is but a fragment (albeit a large one). Thanks for looking!

Nice find on the big .577 caliber! [emoji106]

I have found several Enfield's, but never one with a plug. Congrats!![emoji106]

Very nice frag, and always cool to find an enfield with the cork still there! Nice hunt. I think your single-ring is modern - if it has "striations" inside the ring, it is for sure. I like your iron buckle and suspender buckle too!

You're right, I checked it more closely and it is definitely striated. And thanks for identifying the suspenders buckle, I was wondering what it was!
