Greetings.
Last week I had a well deserved road trip. I had a blast and met some great people from all across New England. Ten hours of driving each way took its toll on me, but it was fun.
I went to see a Bruins game, and spent a couple of days at Foxwoods casino. It was a spur of the moment trip and my passport had expired, but I felt confident they'd let me across. Luckily, after a lesson in passports... they let me through.
The whole way down, I looked at the amazing New England countryside and thought to myself... "Man, I should have brought my detector." We travelled through Maine, New Hampshire, Mass, RI and Connecticut. My friend was probably sick of me saying "Yep, a lot of history in this area..." (He doesn't detect)
So, next summer, I will spend a week at Foxwoods casino in south-eastern Connecticut. I will detect by day and play poker by night. Buffets and bullion!
If there's anyone from the Norwich, Stronington area.. or general vicinity of Foxwoods that would like to take me out next summer and find Conn. coppers, I assure you we'll have a good time. I will even bring Canadian goods like Maple syrup to bring back home to your family!
I know its a long time away, but if I don't ask, I don't know.
