Hi everybody , I headed out solo again as DHD is out of commission and will be for a long while . Had my list in hand and got the ussually couple of no answers and few NO's and finally a yes in a very small yard that back up to his neighbors field . The area has some civil war history and it didnt take long to find my first score of the day a nice Connecticut Button in tact and great shape ,its a first for me on that button ! Then next two scores followed shortly with two nice dropped .50 cal smith bullets and then on to a dropped .58 cal except after looking at it , it turned out to be a wormed bullet which is all the better for me . Then I scored a new york excelsior button , but unfortunatley it didnt fair well as it was just the top part and a little twisted but after a few steps away I found the back of it so that was kind of nice . Then the last score of the day a fired .58 cal but this little beauty has a hole in the side of it so it was a unique bullet , not sure how that came about . So all in all a productive day and still have many more area's to door knock at ! Thanks for looking
