That's a really cool find. But you gotta be asking yourself -- what's up with the fishing rods??

But why hide them? Were fishing rods illegal in 1932? Maybe they were used in a crime but hard to see how. Maybe there's a clue in that particular newspaper?

The only thing I saw was in the Philadelphia Enquirer for that day, a bank robbery of sorts where a guard was killed. But the gunmen fled inland, so probably a red herring.
