Cool arrow head - 1800's?

So last weekend I went out with a friend to some state land that used to house an old homestead. Now it is just open space that gets mowed throughout the season.

It was a good day, my friend found a walking half, and a merc, and I found one in a nice shape as well.

However, the most interesting thing I found was an iron arrow head. As you can see by some of the other stuff I found, there is definately some mid-late 1800's items at this site.

Does anyone have an idea on how old this arrow head is? You can see at the base there is still some sort of fiber wrapped around it.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

What part of the country did you find it in? I've never found anything but stone points here in NC...

This was found in Connecticut. I've had friends who have found copper points. I'm not sure if this is an iron trade arrow, or something more modern. I have a feeling it may be more modern. I'm hoping there is some hunting expert out there that will recognize it.
