Detector(s) used
Garrett Ace 350
Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting
Found her wandering around a busy highway on my way to go detecting.
She's 1 maybe 1 1/2 years old.
We took her to a park and let her loose. She was playing with my son, following him up and down the playground, she would follow him down the slide, She was a VERY nice dog. I took her home gave her a bath, She is calm just lays down next to us on the floor. I put up (found Dog) flyers all over town.

Didnt get any detecting done this weekend LOL.

Good for you :icon_thumleft: Hope you find her owners. If not at least a rescue if you can't keep her.

Take her to the vet and see if she is chipped, that my help locate an owner. OR run your pinpointer over her back just below the neck and see if you get a signal. I think those chips would be detectable.

A good deed you've done.Hope it all works out in your favor...............................

If I ever move back to the country the first thing I will do is get a German Shepard. Are you sure you found her or did she find you? She looks pretty content in the pic:thumbsup:

If the dog is not chipped, whatever you do, do not turn her over to a animal shelter...they will put her down if not claimed within days...

And if you do not want to adopt her, turn her over to a German Shepard Rescue Group or other rescue group in your area...they will find her a home, although you appear to be a compatable match...

When you are at the vets office, have the vet perform a a physical exam and see if the dog has been neutered...

Well I hope you find the owner. If not I think you found your hunting buddy. Great dogs and very loyal to family.

You can also post on Craigslist but I would not put a picture. You want to be sure you find the right owner.

I did a Craigslist add. I also put up ads at the stores.
I walk her on the busy streets close to where i found her hoping her owner will see her.

She not chipped, I dont think she is fixed.
I'll keep her if no one claims her, She is a very sweet dog.
I have no problem giving her back to the owner if they come forword to claim her.
