Some friends that live on the cape Fear river in Southport gave me access to the river bank that you normally cant get to. I found a three ring mini within five minutes. Then I looked up and one of those huge cargo ships were coming and as it went by it sucked the water line to about 20 yards away. I knew it was going to come rushing back quick and this old bottle was laying on top of the sand about 15 yards out. With my detector in hand I sprinted out, snached up the bottle and ran back in just enough time to jump up on the sea wall. I was wondering if anyone knows how old it might be?
