We''l need a lot more info than what you've given so far. We can't even tell size without some sort of reference. What's it made of? What sort of area was it found in? Any I.D marks on it? More photos from different angles.

I'm fairly certain that it is a frockslit, based on the skews on the right hand side of the nargle.

I will post better pics later, it's about 3-4" and was found at a local park. Feels kinda like metal to me, not really any identifying marks. Thanks!!

Cool find? Those blobs of rusty steel piss me off when they fool me into digging them. :)

Some more pics, with my wedding band for a size reference. Better than some of the other junk I've been digging!

I found something similar in Scituate (I'm from RI too). Mine came in around +76 probably copper slag. Is that green patina I see on yours?

You are correct, good to see more people on here from RI!

I lived there for while too.....in fact, a distant relative of mine was Roger Williams, the founder of RI! Wish I could help you on your "find" but I have no idea what it is.

I believe, aka guess, the bubbles give it away as some form of slag and therefore has no relationship to a frockslit. (Silver Simon made me do it!). Unique find though and I suspect we are all glad they are uncommon.........................63bkpkr
