Cool find with Insitu pic (Silver what is it) Perfume Bottle

[Chug And Red]

I have 4 days off to play, so I got out today and while at an elementary school i pinpointed this using a cheap pinpointer dug down with my finger and exposed this item At firs i thought it might be a perfume bottle after cleaning I'm not so sure it has threads in the top

Forgot to mention this is the first time I took my camera with me when hunting! It recently it took a nose dive off a banister and tumbled down the stairs cracking the case so I'm not worried about it getting damaged or lost now Chug

It it a hollow vessel? Is it threaded and possibly a finial for a silver lamp?

It is hollow when i cleaned it it filled up with water i had to shake it out before i weighed it

Yep, I'm going with lamp finial too; if not for a lamp, it is some type of decorative finial. Nice find, Breezie

Well, no too scary, but, close enough. The lines on the OP's bottle 'lean' outward and the ones on the latest post 'lean' inward. In any case, I think it is close enough to put a "solved" on this one! I would say myself and IronSpike nailed this one early on!!
