I would of posted this yesterday but it was April 1st. . . I'm sure you understand
I was out at the spot where a lot of us have had great success with Barbers lately and April Fools day
proved to be no exception.
I started hunting in the woods near a paved bike path that looked fairly promising on the 1938 aerials
and one of my first targets was an old Cracker Jack sheep (my first one of that type
) so I
was hopeful that there might be a few old coins in that area as well. My next two targets were a
1903-P Barber Quarter (perfect VDI 86) and a 1939 Wheat.
The rest of my hunt was uneventful except for the usual lead and shotgun shell heads.
Thanks for looking,
