Got out for about hour to do some hunting in the field next to my house, found the cool old toy gun in the photo below. Cleaned up hoping to find a number or something I could date it by, from the weight of the metal and the silver plating that was still on it I would say it was made in the twenties or thirties. Wish could have found intact but even in pieces still cool relic, found about 8-10” down. Also, not far from the cap gun found the shotgun head stamp that I was able to date to around early 1900’s (head stamp lower left photo). This makes over 38 head stamps I have pulled from this one field all dating late 1800’s to 1920’s.
