Cool Relics from 1900's Site

Hello All. I got permission to excavate at a new previously un-dug site! It's a small town set of homes built in the 19-teens. So far I have only scanned a small portion of one back yard, so there's lots more to explore.

Got a real nice mix of stuff in (3) short after work hunts. I have some research to do on some of these finds (which is almost as fun as the finding part) but let me know if have any insights on them.

The AAA badge is too right, found it tonight next to a bottle cap and a nail...weird signal.

Thanks for the view and good luck this weekend. C9

Nice assortment of finds you got there!

Nice finds. I googled Nettie Rosenstein and seen a notation that she was instrumental in the popularization of the little black dress, we owe her a debt of gratitude for that. Good news for you is, that there seems to be a very nice market for her jewelry. Didn't see your piece, but here are some for sale or that have sold. I love multi era mixed up finds like what you have there. Wonder how old the tap is?

GREAT relics! The AAA sign is amazing, but my favorite of your finds is the Burger King token. I mean, American currency has such high mintages in the 20th century, a nickel or dime just isn't that interesting to me. But the "Home of the Whopper" in Orlando Florida? I can smell the flame-broiled goodness lingering on the humid Florida air right now. Check out this vintage Burger King training video my friends told me about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ZXeFPpPJeI[/URL]
It's called "Hot Drinks" and it is awesome.

great finds, a lot of really cool stuff. old base to zebco fishing reel, brass snap by quarter, knife and I like the pocket watch as well, still looking for my gold or silver one.

Nice finds! The AAA badge is especially nifty! :icon_thumleft:

Awesome bunch of finds! Any information on the watch possibly?

Very interesting assortment of recoveries! I like the Automobile Assn. emblem, nice color remaining.

Liking the AAA emblem.

As a person who prefers relics to just about anything else, I congratulate you on a nice collection of artifacts my friend.:icon_thumleft:
