went out near coolgardie(near barstow ca)the dirt was dry,people were finding gold,we didnt find much.but it was fun to be out again,

I used to have a claim out that way. the gold is very sporadic. highdesertranger

gpaa used to have a claim there,two quartz.it had good gold,not sure who owns it now.lots of history out there.
