Found inches away from a "V" Nickle ... any idea?

kinda small for a napkin ring though at 1" diameter. ???

With the rings,I don't think it is any kind of pipe 'sweat'fitting(solder).I think that centralvic is closer to the answer.

Scarf Ring? Years ago a scarf worn around the neck almost always had a ring to keep it together. :icon_scratch:
