I read somewhere that we a one of the largest exporter of scrap and other materials for industry.

Yea, we send it abroad for refinement, then buy it back? Crazy...
Anyway, worldtalker, you've got a nice stash. With pics provided, I guess $104. Please let us know.
My work affords me to stack scrap copper and aluminum throughout the year. That combined with detecting scrap, I usually get 'bout $2500 annually. Sure helps out in winter.
Peace ✌

How much did the buckets weigh. Did you separate the copper from the brass?

I haven't weighed it,I'm guessing 50+..the guy at the yard will separate it for me,I sit and talk with Him,told me people bring in some pretty nice stuff "I take it home" He said.:laughing7:

Nice isn't it that even the trash in this hobby is worth money!

Now if I can just convince the family to let me keep it all for recycling.

Get two of these and decorate them up for around the yard, one for brass, one for copper...
